L’entreprise brésilienne Costa Negocios investira 50 millions $ dans l’agriculture au Malawi | Land Portal

La compagnie brésilienne Costa Negocios, active dans les secteurs de l’agrobusiness et de la construction industrielle investira 50 millions $ dans le secteur agricole malawite. C’est ce qu’a annoncé Danilo Danelucci, directeur exécutif des activités de l’entreprise sur le continent en marge d’une rencontre avec le président Peter Mutharika.

Selon M. Danelucci, cette manne financière est destinée à la Greenbelt Initiative (GBI) lancée par le gouvernement du Malawi et sera débloqué dans les quatre à six prochains mois, sous réserve de l’achèvement du processus administratif.

Outre cette assistance financière, le dirigeant indique que son groupe mettra à disposition des petits agriculteurs, des machines agricoles ainsi qu’une équipe d’assistance technique.

Pour rappel, Costa Negocios est également présente en Angola, au Mozambique et en Guinée Equatoriale.
