Sénégal : manifestations contre le bradage des terres à Ziguinchor | Land Portal

C’est au tour des populations de Ziguinchor, dans le sud du Sénégal, d’exprimer leur mécontentement et de condamner le « bradage » de leurs terres. A cet effet, ils ont manifesté ce mercredi 17 mai 2017.

Comme le rapportent les médias locaux, ces manifestations dans les principales artères de la ville ont dégénéré en échauffourées. « Les manifestants ont brûlé des pneus aux abords de l’Université Assane Seck.La police dans ses manœuvres a tenté de faire revenir le calme. Plusieurs personnes ont été interpellées par les Forces de sécurité. », rapporte notamment la Rfm.

La cession récente à bail de 10 000 hectares de terres agricoles dans le Fouta-Toro au groupe marocain Addoha, dirigé par le milliardaire Anas Safrioui, pour la modique somme de 2 milliards de Fcfa avait déjà mis le feu aux poudres, et fait surgir des soupçons d’accaparements de terres sénégalaises.
