Kipushi: des villageois se disent victimes de spoliation de leurs terres | Land Portal

Une centaine d’habitants de cinq villages de la chefferie Kaponda à Kipushi (Haut-Katanga) ont manifesté jeudi 11 mai devant le palais de justice de Lubumbashi pour protester contre la «spoliation de leurs villages» par certaines autorités locales.


Reçus par le Procureur général du Haut-Katanga à Lubumbashi, les manifestants ont accusé « les autorités municipales et coutumières de Kipushi » d’avoir vendu leurs villages et champs à « des tiers » en complicité avec le service de cadastre du territoire.


Le ministre provincial de l’Intérieur qui les a reçus par la suite leur a promis de faire parvenir leurs revendications au gouverneur intérimaire du Haut Katanga.
