Ituri: un conflit foncier dégénère en échauffourées, un mort et des écoles incendiées | Land Portal

Une personne a été tuée, deux écoles et plusieurs cases incendiées dans la nuit de dimanche à lundi 20 mars dans le territoire de Djugu au cours d’échauffourées occasionnées par un conflit foncier qui oppose les villages Lodjo et Tchuru.


Selon Idriss Koma, l’administrateur du territoire de Djugu, les habitants de ces deux villages se disputent depuis quelques mois de l’exploitation d’une colline fertile pour les activités champêtres. La colline est située à la lisière des deux villages.


Excédés par de l’absence d’un compromis dans le dossier, rapportent des sources locales, les habitants de Lodjo ont incendié plusieurs cases du village de Tchuru.


En représailles, les habitants de Tchuru ont attaqué le village Lodjo et incendié deux écoles. Une personne a été tuée dans cette attaque.


Les élèves qui fréquentaient les deux écoles sont privés de classe.


Idriss Koma appelle les habitants des deux villages à la retenue et à saisir la justice pour régler leur différend.


Il demande aux personnes de bonne volonté de financer la réhabilitation de deux écoles incendiées à Lodjo.
