Drupal Developer
Are you a dynamic developer with PhP and JavaScript skills? Are you interested in working with an exciting young organization full of possibilities?
The Land Portal is looking for a temporary Drupal Developer, to begin immediately, pending confirmation of project funding availability. This position is home-based.

Basic Knowledge
- Convincing and Sound experience with Drupal7
- Must be able to create Drupal modules (contributor-like) and features. You know how to use various entities and relationships, create advanced views, use contexts, menus/router, i18n and other basic/mainstream modules.
- Understanding of JS-based visualizations such as Highcharts.
- Basic knowledge of SCSS or CSS compiler highly desirable.
- Experience working on a bootstrap or responsive-type framework Ideally, you have already worked with drupal-bootstrap theme.
- Experience working with versioning systems. You know how to work with branches, diff, rebase, merge code, etc.
Preferred
- Using Linux-based environment. You should be at least capable of running a basic Web dev environment locally with, of course, Drupal7, apache, mysql, etc.
- Demonstrable work on a Drupal7 theme or modules or php-based apps. Good to know Organic Groups and/or Mailchimp.
- Know-how to package JS modules and apps.
- Be familiar with an advanced framework such as Angular, React, NodeJS, Backbone would also be a plus (but not strictly needed).
Within a short time frame (1 - 2 months), you will be tasked to developing new sections of the Land Book section on the Land Portal. These new Land Book sections will consist of a set of pages, including a dashboard-like page with providing a high-level overview and set of pages on specific topics. This will also include the development and integration of JS visualizations (based on Land Portal Library) to Drupal7. This is a temporary contract that will be limited to the project funding period, a mostly over a period of 3 months, May through July, but some additional work may be necessary through October.

Reporting
The Land Portal Drupal Developer will be working in close liaison with the Land Portal Technology Officer (and the rest of the team) under the direct supervision of the Land Portal Coordinator.
