SCHOLARSHIP: Makerere University Female Scholarship Foundation (FSF)

The Makerere University Female Scholarship Foundation (FSF) was launched in November 2010 as a continuation of the Makerere University Female Scholarship Initiative (FSI). FSF is pleased to announce opportunity for undergraduate scholarships for 2012/2013 Academic Year.

The goal of FSF : “To increase the enrolment, retention and improve the academic performance of female under graduate students at Makerere University with specific emphasis on sciences and giving priority to applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds and under-represented geographical areas in Uganda”.

Eligibility:

• A female student admitted to Makerere University on the Private Sponsorship Scheme
• Student should be from a genuinely poor socio-economic background.
• Academic excellence
