The Second week of the Yatra began with a review and refocussing by Rajaji. “This is a Yatra for understanding peoples’ suffering. When this suffering is carried on for long enough, two outcomes are usually seen: People either get frustrated and reject the entire constructive exercise
Today, we said goodbye to four of our friends from Europe who were travelling with the Yatra: Mamaji, Michel, Delphine and Lukas. All of them enjoyed the experience of travelling with the Yatra for a few days. The first meeting of the day was then held at Gandhi Bhavan of Kanoor and chaired by Mr. T.P.P.R Nath, a senior social activist of Kanoor.
Prof. Surendranath, senior social activist, Mr. Sudhakaran, advocate, and Mr. A. Madhavan, freedom fighter, were the special speakers of the meeting at Kozikode. According to them, the percentage of the tribal population in Kozhikode and Wayanad is higher than in other districts.
