Indigenous groups in Indonesia ask EU for help enshrining rights as part of free-trade agreement

17 February 2023 — The Land Portal Foundation has been selected by the European Union (EU) for a €1.6 million grant, a decision that underscores the organization’s vital role in the land governance sector. The funds will accelerate the Land Portal’s work to bring the land governance and open data communities together, fueled by its foundational belief that access to information is crucial for achieving good land governance.

EuroGeoSurveys logo

EuroGeoSurveys (EGS), The Geological Surveys of Europe, is a not-for-profit organisation representing 37 National Geological Surveys and some regional Surveys in Europe, an overall workforce of several thousand experts.


Aims to make policymakers and on-the-ground development managers aware of the latest and best in British development research findings. Offers policy-relevant findings on critical global development issues, drawn from over 40 major UK-based economics and social studies departments and think-tanks, together with a wide range of NGO research departments and consultants.

Service is divided into sectors:

Ekta Parishad Europe is an open network of independent organisations and individuals of European countries. Its primary goal is to provide moral, political and financial support to social movements which assist deprived people to achieve control over their means of livelihood such as water, land and forest.

The European Timber Trade Federation (ETTF) represents sixteen key importing trade federations from thirteen countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and UK (as of 2016). ETTF promotes the interests of timber trade in Europe, and more specifically its main objectives are to: Make timber the sustainable choice; Support international efforts to address deforestation, governance and climate change; Implement Codes of Conducts.

A revista Tensões Mundiais é uma publicação quadrimestral do Observatório das Nacionalidades, grupo formado por pesquisadoras e pesquisadores de diversas instituições e áreas do conhecimento. Ela está avaliada pela CAPES com conceito A2 na área de Ciência Política e Relações Internacionais e se vincula ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Sociologia (PPGS), bem como ao Programa de Pós-graduação em Políticas Públicas (PPPP), ambos da Universidade Estadual do Ceará (UECE).

FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia (FAO Europe & Central Asia)

FAO’s Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia – located in Budapest, Hungary – provides and coordinates FAO policy and technical assistance to Member Countries in the Region.

European Research Studies Journal is a refereed publication and is designed to cover a wide variety of topics in the fields of Business and Economics in general including Banking, Financial Services and Internal Controls, Accounting and Finance, Health Economics, Tourism, Maritime Studies, Transport and Logistics, Energy and Environment with reference to European Integration. It aims to act as a guide for new developments and prospects in different aspects of economic thought and business methodologies and it is programmed to come out two to four times a year.

Fert est une association française de coopération internationale pour le développement agricole des pays en développement et émergents. Elle a pour objet de contribuer à créer dans ces pays les conditions permettant aux agriculteurs d’améliorer leurs conditions de vie et de travail et de concourir à la sécurité alimentaire de leur pays.

Fert accompagne les agriculteurs dans la création d’organisations (groupements de producteurs, coopératives, caisses de crédit agricole, centres de formation …) leur permettant d’apporter des solutions durables aux problèmes qu’ils rencontrent dans l’exercice de leur métier et la défense de leurs intérêts.

Fert conduit, dans 9 pays, 22 actions de terrain dans lesquelles elle mobilise des responsables et techniciens agricoles dans une démarche de solidaritépour partager leur expérience d’engagement professionnel et de gestion de leurs organisations.

Fert est membre d’AgriCord, alliance internationale fédérant 12 agri-agences de 10 pays : Allemagne, Belgique, Brésil, Canada, Espagne, Finlande, France, Philippines, Sénégal, Suède.
